FAQ
Common questions
Everything you're likely wondering about how Move Better Support works — if you can't find what you need here, just get in touch.
Getting Started
Who do you support?+
We support people of all ages with disability, including children and young people. We can also support families where a child has a disability, including autism. Every session is one-on-one and matched to what the participant actually enjoys.
What areas do you service?+
We're based in Adelaide and service Adelaide and the surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we cover your suburb, just reach out and we'll let you know.
How do I get started?+
The easiest way is to try our Find Your Worker quiz, or get in touch through our Contact page. Tell us a bit about your goals and we'll suggest a worker and talk through next steps — usually within one business day.
Funding & NDIS
How does funding work?+
We currently work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. If you're not sure how your plan is managed, or whether we're a fit for your funding type, get in touch and we can talk it through together.
Sessions & Support
What kind of support do you offer?+
Six focus areas: Gym & Fitness Support, Sports & Physical Activities, Community Outings & Adventures, Social Skills & Friendships, Building Confidence & Independence, and Kids & Family Support. Every session is one-on-one, not group-based.
Do you work with children with autism?+
Yes. We support children and young people with a range of disabilities, including autism, with sessions paced around what works for your child. Visit our Kids & Family Support page for more detail.
Can I choose which support worker I work with?+
Yes. You can browse our full team on the Our Workers page, or use our Find Your Worker quiz for a suggested match based on your goals. We'll always talk it through with you before confirming anything.
Can't find what you're after? Reach out via our Contact page and we'll get back to you directly.
Still have questions?
We're happy to talk it through — no pressure, just a conversation about what you need.
